• Bay State African Violet Society Spring Display and Plant Sale (please read event details carefully!)

  We are looking forward to spring and invite you to attend our annual African violet display and plant sale! This event will take place at the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill in Boylston, MA. 

  We will have a lovely display of blooming African violet plants as well as some of their gesneriad relatives.  There will also be 2 free educational workshops - presented on Saturday ONLY.  And hundreds of gorgeous African violets will be for sale! 

  Saturday the plant exhibit will be on full display, and lots of plants will be for sale in the sales room.  Some sale plants will be member-grown but most are being obtained from Lyndon Lyons Greenhouses in NY State. We will have a vendor, Enchanted Gardens, selling supplies on Saturday as well.

  Please note - the BSAVS exhibit and sale will NOT extend to Sunday again this year.

  Save the date and please plan on joining us on Saturday, October 18th, at 12 Noon at the Berlin Country Club for the Bay State African Violet Society Inc.'s annual Membership Meeting.  

  We are planning an afternoon gathering

  of fun and fellowship - which will include a yummy meal, an interesting program on some aspect of African violet growing and  a brief business meeting. 

  We will open the registration and you will be able to buy your tickets later this summer, so please keep an eye on this space for further details!
