It is with great sadness that we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Bay State African Violet Spring Show, “Sweet on Violets,” in response to the current coronavirus threat.

The state’s health officials and global health community are encouraging people to avoid large groups at indoor events, and to ignore that advice would be irresponsible and dangerous. The risk to our most vulnerable populations is real.

This decision was not made lightly, but we felt it was the right decision for all our members, volunteers, judges and the visiting public.  Next year we hope to be back with all our blooming African violets to help ring in the spring season!
